Wow, I suck at keeping up with this blog. Much apologies to the couple people (excluding my wife) that might happen to be interested in our life.
Well, a lot has happened. We had our baby. Harper Layne was born at 11:39 AM on 11/14/13. She was 8.1 LBs at birth. She’s over a month old right now. Boy, how time flies. It turns out our little Harper is a bit of a prodigy, having said her first word a little over 4 weeks of age. A simple, “Hi”. Don’t believe me?
Mia loves being a big sister and she’s somewhat helpful. She finished her gymnastics season and she showed great progress throughout the year. She’s able to do all the major skills; however, we need to work on the little nuances of her routine.
Jennifer is finally back to work as of yesterday from her leave. She handled everything very well. From the pregnancy, child birth and the 4 and a half weeks since. She’s the best in the world at calling “dibs not it” when Harper has a stinky. Although, she usually takes care of it anyway.
I know you are all wondering…”WHAT ABOUT GRIZZLY?”. Well, he’s over 130 pounds right now and still a raging lunatic. Still very much a puppy. Which can be a challenge because he’s so big and strong already. But, I’ve got big pipes and can still take him. Although he’s a bit to “ruff” on the other dogs and they’re, as my wife says, geriatric.
